Due to continued company growth, a position has arisen for a Bid Coordinator to work for one of Australia's fastest growing commercial construction companies. Established for over 40 years with a turnover close to $150M, our client has earned a solid reputation for building schools, commercial & community buildings and across government sectors. 
Working as part of a team of three bid coordinators, you will play an integral position in supporting the Estimating team from a marketing perspective with all tender/bid submissions. 
Key Responsibilities include; 
  • Formulating presentations and management of the bid process, from evaluation of the initial enquiry, with the estimating team, to collating information and the handover of the final bid.
  • Working closely with the Estimating, Construction & Marketing
  • Content creation & Creative input
  • Updating & creating tender templates
  • Creating Project sheets, Invitation to tenders & Resumes
  • Coordinating with designers
  • Responsible for non technical content for bids
  • Copywriting
  • Ability to coordinate with the project delivery and estimating team to collate technical information for submissions.
  • Creating tenders to stand out amongst competitors.
  • Ensuring all bids are submitted on time and fully compliant with the requirements.
  • Various stakeholder management
To be successful in this role you will possess the following;  
  • Experience as a marketing or bid coordinator in the construction or a related industry.
  • Executive Assistants, Office Administrators with experience in Bids are also encouraged to apply. 
  • Keen interest in Construction & project driven environments
  • Energetic, enthusiastic individual who enjoys working to deadlines.
  • Experience with Adobe InDesign
  • High Attention and a great eye for detail
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments
  • Excellent communication, content creation and copy writing skills
  • Qualifications in communication or sales and marketing would be high advantageous but not essential
