Estimator – Fit out
A position has arisen for an Estimator who is keen to fast track their Career. Our client is a growing commercial refurbishment & fit out contractor, with turnover of over $35M, employing over 130 staff nationwide. Established for over 25 years, and well renowned they have earned a strong reputation in delivering high quality/high end complex refurbishment and fit out projects up to the value of $30M.
Responsibilities
- Working as part of a team and reporting into the Estimating Manager
- Management of the end to end tender process for lump sum & design & construct projects under your control
- Client meetings
- Review and prepare EOI's and submissions
- Liaising with other departments, sub-contractors and clients to ensure deadlines are met
- Preparing bills of quantities, quotations and scope of works
- Management of multiple tenders
- Review Subcontractor, Supplier and Consultants performance
- Working with the marketing team and bid coordinator
- Keep track of and regularly update salesforce
Requirements
- Proven track record in Estimating within commercial refurbishment & fit out
- The ability to work autonomously
- Be client facing - strong presentation and communication skills
- Construction Management or a relevant industry degree
- Strong system skills - experience with Cubit Advantageous
- Strong team player
