Due to a strong pipeline of tenders and a positive market outlook, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an Estimator to join a top-tier commercial building contractor based in Alexandria.
Our client is one of Australia’s largest and most profitable contractors, known for their excellent reputation and proven track record delivering projects across commercial, education, health, industrial, residential, and technology sectors.
As an Estimator, you will play a key role within the pre-construction team, contributing to the successful pricing and winning of projects.
Collaborate with the team to prepare tender submissions and cost estimates
Price ECI, lump sum, and D&C projects
Review and analyse subcontractor pricing
Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers
Prepare scopes of work, take-offs, and bills of quantities
Provide input into value engineering opportunities
Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Project Management
2–3 years’ experience in estimating
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Analytical mindset with solid negotiation ability
Motivated, proactive, and eager to develop within the construction industry
Experience across commercial projects (preferred)
Proficient in CostX
Australian Permanent Resident or Citizen
