Foreman
We have a number of opportunities for experienced Foreman working for one of Sydney’s leading luxury / high end developer builders. Having been in business for over 20 years our client has earned a fantastic reputation in the market, renowned for delivering high quality projects across Sydney, boasting a strong project pipeline.
Projects are all high end residential / mixed use developments valued $60m - $300m. Projects are Sydney wide.
As General Foreman you will be responsible for:
- Conducting site inductions for staff and sub-contractors
- Managing the sub-contractors ensuring they are; fulfilling their duties & responsibilities in accordance to the programme, monitor subcontractors performance on a daily basis ensuring safety is being adhered to, quality and programme, reporting any deficiencies to the Site Manager
- Supporting the Site Manager in the commissioning and handover of the project by ensuring all relevant documentation is completed and provided to the Project Manager
- Managing cost control for certain aspects of the project, as directed by the Site Manager, in order to ensure the project meets its required performance targets in relation to budget
- Maintain positive industrial relations with authorities and unions, resolving any issues in accordance with the client's guidelines
As Finishes Foreman you will be responsible for:
- Reporting to the project Manager you will be responsible for the day to day operations on site for the Finishes packages
- Management of subcontractors in line with the programme
- Ensuring the successful delivery of project on time & in line with the budget
- Liaising between Subcontractors, project managers & internal stakeholders
- Management & coordination & materials
- OH&S
Requirements
- Proven track record as a Foreman on residential apartments +$80m
- Strong attention to detail
- Trades or construction management degree background preferred
- Excellent communication, management & organisational skills
- Solid understanding of OH&S processes
