Leading Hand
An experienced Leading Hand is currently being recruited by one of Sydney's leading residential/mixed use developer builders, due to company expansion. The company has over 25 years of experience delivering high-end quality projects and has a strong project pipeline across Sydney, Central Coast, and South Coast. The successful candidate will join a high-performing, collaborative team delivering projects ranging from $60m up to $300m.
Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate trades in designated areas.
- Identify and rectify defects.
- Coordinate materials, timely deliveries and logistic, including storage
- Induction of subcontractors & site labour
- Liaise and manage sub-contractors.
- Ensure adherence to plans and specifications
- Assist the Project team with project reporting
- Assist with the scope of works formation
- Run project to the construction programme & specification
- Provide proactive risk identification, management and mitigation
- Oversee quality of workmanship
- Implementation of OH&S policies
Requirements
- Qualified carperone Cert 3 in carpentry or equivalent
- Demonstrated history as Leading Hand on high-end residential/mixed use projects
- Onshore head contractor/developer builder experience
- Full working rights in Australia
- Strong leadership skills & ability to drive and motivate subcontractors to achieve programme timeframe
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
- Strong organisational & time management skills
