Site Supervisor | Commercial Fit-Out & Refurbishment

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Site Supervisor to join a well-established Tier 3 commercial head contractor specialising in refurbishment and fit-out projects valued up to $15 million.

With a strong reputation across the retail, commercial, and hospitality sectors, the business continues to secure a healthy pipeline of projects and offers a collaborative, supportive, and social team environment. The company’s head office is conveniently located close to Sydney CBD with excellent public transport access.

The Role

As Site Supervisor, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of projects from commencement through to completion. Working closely with the Project Manager and wider project team, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations across commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects.
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with project plans, specifications, and construction programmes.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
• Monitor project progress to ensure programme milestones, deadlines, and budgets are achieved.
• Maintain and enforce site safety standards and compliance requirements.
• Manage site logistics, material deliveries, and resource allocation.
• Identify and resolve site issues proactively, providing practical solutions where required.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients.
• Liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide regular site updates and reporting to the Project Manager and Site Manager.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Proven experience as a Site Supervisor, Foreman, or Leading Hand within the commercial fit-out and refurbishment sector.
• Experience delivering projects ranging from $1- $5 Million, with exposure to larger projects viewed favourably.
• Strong knowledge of site coordination, subcontractor management, and construction sequencing.
• Trade qualifications and a demonstrated track record of successfully delivering small to medium-sized projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive, team-oriented approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and perform effectively in fast-paced project environments.
